Die COOL Days 2023 fanden im Clare College statt, dem zweitältesten der 31 historischen Colleges in Cambridge.
Ein vollgepacktes Programm voller Blitzvorträge, Partner-Workshops und Teambuilding.

Technical Day am 28.03.2023
Ist es möglich, 45 Blitzvorträge an einem Tag zu halten? Eindeutig JA!
Am Dienstag den 28.03.2023 präsentierten die Partner die Themen und Lösungen, die in den letzten 6 Monaten bei ihnen im Fokus standen.

Partner Day am 29.03.2023
Der Mittwoch war mit Workshops und Austausch zum Partnerprogramm gefüllt.
Den Kick-Off Vortrag führte Simon Phipps mit Einblicken in den Datenschutz in Europa sowie die Zukunft von Open Source.
Im Verlauf des Tages kam es zum produktiven Austausch unter den Partnern im Hinblick auf zukünftige Zusammenarbeit, mögliche Perspektiven und den Entwicklungsfahrplan für 2023.
Zeitgleich fand ein Hackfest für die Aktiven der Libre Office Community statt.
Viele Stunden wurden damit verbracht gemeinsam mit anderen Mitgliedern der Gemeinschaft zu arbeiten und voneinander zu lernen.
Social Events
Während dieser beiden Tagen gab es zuhauf Gelegenheiten sich gegenseitig kennenzulernen: Schatzsuche durch Cambridge, Stocherkahnfahrt auf dem Fluss Cam und köstliche gemeinsame Mahlzeiten.
Der letzte Abend in Ridley Hall vermittelte uns sogar einen Hauch von Hogwarts … nur leider ohne die Eulen.

A jam-packed program full of lightning talks, partner workshops and team building.

Technical Day on 03/28/2023
Is it possible to have 45 lightning talks in one day? Definitely YES!
On Tuesday 03/28/2023, partners presented the topics and solutions that have been their focus over the last 6 months.

Partner Day on 3/29/2023
Wednesday was filled with workshops and exchanges about the partner program.
The kick-off talk was led by Simon Phipps with insights into data protection in Europe as well as the future of open source.
In the course of the day, there was a productive exchange among the partners with regard to future cooperation, possible perspectives and the development roadmap for 2023.
At the same time, there was also held a hackfest for those who are involved in the LibreOffice Technology community.
Many hours were spent working together with other members of the community and learning from each other.
Social Events
During these two days there were many opportunities to get to know each other: treasure hunt through Cambridge, punting trip on the river Cam and delicious meals together.
The last evening in Ridley Hall even gave us a touch of Hogwarts … only unfortunately without any owls.
